If your platform puts people behind the wheel — ride-hailing, delivery, logistics, vehicle rentals — verifying the driving licence is a core safety and compliance step. An API confirms the licence is genuine and valid, and tells you exactly which vehicle classes the driver is authorised for.
What you need
Driving licence verification takes two inputs: the DL number and the holder's date of birth. Together they confirm the licence belongs to the person you are onboarding.
